What Is Yoga?
Often defined as: “stilling the fluctuations of the consciousness” or as “joining the body, mind and spirit”, it is a practice you will want to become an integral part of your daily routine not just a class you go to once a week.
At first practicing yoga feels like stretching, but the aim is to work with yourself, identify and understand your imbalances and to make changes so that ultimately you are less affected by the stresses and strains of living.
You begin by working with your body in the poses but quickly learn to connect the mind, intelligence and breath to what you are doing.
